Meet the Greeters
"Hospitality"
The Greater Gadsden Greeters is a not-for-profit social club for women who are newcomers to the greater Gadsden, Alabama area. Our club offers a variety of social activities on a monthly basis, from August through May. It affords the opportunity for women to establish friendships and pursue hobbies and interests. Our club is not affiliated with any church, charity, or civic group.
Who can become “A Greeter”?
Any woman who has lived in the Greater Gadsden area for less than four years may apply for membership. Annual dues are $20.00. Membership may continue indefinitely if dues are paid each year.
Monthly Activities
Each month, various social activities are held for members to attend. All are optional. You may attend as many as you wish, according to your interests and availability.
Each month, September through May, there is a monthly Luncheon and business meeting. Each month features a different guest speaker. A catered hot lunch is available for purchase by members.
There is a monthly Coffee. This is free and is hosted at a different club member’s home each month. It features snacks and beverages in a buffet setting.
